CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
Darling Goat, no complaints this month, please. I know you're overwhelmed by what you have to do, your financial worries, and all the burdens of your grownup life. But if you plant the success tree, she will grow! And to do this, you must: work. Work, work, work -- like you've never worked before!

Yes, I KNOW that's all you've been doing. I know, I know, I know. But this time it's different.
Why?
Because you have a chance in your hands now to really change things -- for the rest of your life.
This chance is not some faraway scheme or dream. Jupiter may have been giving you his promise of riches on the other side of the rainbow, but remember, your ruling planet is Saturn. Saturn rules responsibility, lessons, and wisdom won from hard experience. Saturn does not humor get-rich-quick schemes.
Saturn is not amused by escapist fantasies or child's play.
If you have recently come to your senses about money and your financial situation, that is because Neptune has gone retrograde in your second house of cash and self-worth (On Monday, May 17, to be precise.) Neptune is all about enchantment, dreams, magic, and illusion. The original Sea-Goat came from the water, so magic is as much a part of you as anything else.
But it's time to wake up, Sweetheart. Look around you. Is this how you want to be living in ten years? Twenty? Thirty?
It's a sobering prospect, eh?
You know I love you -- and I'm not trying to scare you. I'm not trying to make your life more difficult. In fact, I'd say I'm usually kinder to you than I am to the other signs in my horoscopes. I've encouraged your hopes and dreams. I've sympathized with your efforts and struggles. I've UNDERSTOOD WHERE YOU'RE COMING FROM.
Other astrologers can be hard, if not mean, to Capricorns, and I've always had a problem with that. (I think it's because very few astrologers are Capricorns! None that I know anyway. Most are Cancer or Pisces, the water signs.) I've gone out of my way to correct the assumption that Goats are materialistic, ambitious, ruthless and all that silly stuff.

if you don't believe me. I wanted to clear up those self-worth issues for child goats once and for all. I think a lot of damage has been done to Goats due to these mis-assumptions and misinterpretations.
But now, dear Sweet Goat, I cannot go gentle into this June with you. It is time to rage, rage, rage against the dying of the light! That's from the poet Dylan Thomas who -- by the way -- didn't have a single planet in anything Capricorn. And so you must act. From a different motivating force -- try it -- but carried out in your usual stellar way.
THIS is how you use your lucky Jupiter now. Not in the faraway dreams of the ninth house, but in its reaching out to explore different methods. To learn new ways, thought-processes, languages, and philosophies.
Speaking of light, look around you. Don't you need some new lamps? Let's start with some new illuminations. You will succeed, no doubt about that. But it's time to go further than you have before. It's time to have more faith, less doubt, NO self-pity or pessimism.
The full Moon on Thursday June 3 signals your last bout of intense worry about all your problems -- and then you're done. It's all UP from this point. I want you to start preparing now, however. Plot out your strategy. Be that Mountain Goat you're famous for, and get set on climbing all the way to the top.
On Friday, June 11, Uranus goes retrograde in your third house of communications and gives you a break. Meaning you can rely on your communication skills again and will not need worry about being misunderstood. So, no holding back there either.
Are you hearing the message of June, dear Capricorn? NO MORE EXCUSES. You're going to do it, and nothing, and no one is going to stop you. Not least of all, yourself.
Now, I've saved the best until last -- which is the VENUS TRANSIT.
The most exciting event to happen this month is the VENUS TRANSIT. This has not happened in your lifetime -- it has not happened in 122 years, since 1882. It is not due to happen again until June 6, 2012. On the day it happens, Tuesday, June 8, astrologers and astronomers alike go bananas!
In the words of Dr. Gordon Bromage, Professor of Astronomy at Lancashire University (UK), "Something wonderful, something marvelous is happening on June 8th and will be witnessed and experienced by millions of people all over the world. It is an extremely rare astrological event."
June 8th really should be an international holiday. Venus Day. LOVE DAY. Why on earth don't we have a Love Day?
At the very least, dear Capricorn, do NOT do the ordinary on this day. Take time off from work, leave early, do something different. Honor yourself. Venus will pass directly between the Sun and the Earth on this day, and you will FEEL her power, undeniably.
You will profit from it most through actions you perform which are ruled by the SIXTH HOUSE.

I predict "serious complications" will happen to Michael Moore, another Gemini Jupiter in the firing line (Howard Stern, Oprah Winfrey, Art Garfunkel and Martha Stewart are also Gemini Jupiter.) Awards will not protect him, just as popularity did not protect Howard Stern and money and power did not protect Martha Stewart.
Moore's report of Katherine Harris striking thousands of black American citizens off the ballots in Florida prior to the election is just the tip of the iceberg. A Gemini Jupiter Messenger bearing news of Bush's strategic ties to the Bin Ladens will not be tolerated by the current U.S. administration.
If we could all be as brave as Michael Moore, it could end differently.
A positive is the upcoming Venus Transit. The last time a Venus Transit occurred was during a time of Gemini Jupiter.
The only way I can end here is with something so simple, so basic, as time. Minutes I cannot get out of my head, however hard I try. After President Bush heard the news of the planes crashing into the twin towers, he posed for photos (smiling) in the Emma Booker School in Sarasota, Florida, talked to children, and gave a speech -- all lasting for twenty-five minutes. Twenty-five minutes.
